California Privacy Notice
Effective date: August 19, 2026
This notice supplements the Greenwave Energy Privacy Policy and applies to California residents. Terms defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA), have the same meanings here.
Categories collected Greenwave collects the categories of personal information described below. The categories collected in a particular interaction depend on how you use our website or services. If the DataZapp visitor-identification integration is activated, the disclosures in this notice and the choices described under Sale and sharing will apply.

Sources We collect personal information from you; your device or browser; SoCalGas and other utilities; advertising networks and platforms; analytics providers; service providers; public records; social networks; data brokers; identity-resolution and data-append providers; and business partners.
Sale and sharing Greenwave classifies DataZapp as a third-party identity-resolution/data provider, not as Greenwave's CCPA service provider or contractor. If the DataZapp integration is activated, Greenwave may disclose identifiers and internet or device activity to DataZapp to obtain or associate identity, postal, telephone, email, household, network, location, device, browser, or operating-system information. Greenwave will treat these disclosures as a potential sale or sharing for California privacy-choice purposes. California residents may opt out through Your Privacy Choices or a recognized opt-out preference signal.
Disclosure for business purposes Greenwave may disclose personal information for operational business purposes to the recipient categories identified in the Privacy Policy, including utilities, regulators, service providers and contractors, professional advisers, and other parties as permitted or required by law. DataZapp is separately classified as a third-party identity-resolution/data provider and is addressed under Sale and sharing above.
Your rights
- Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you.
- Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
- Limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information, when applicable.
- Receive equal service and pricing and not be retaliated against for exercising CCPA rights.

We will verify requests as appropriate to the nature of the request. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and, where permitted, confirmation of your identity directly with us. We will use information submitted for verification only to process the request, prevent fraud, and maintain required records.
Consumers under 16 We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
